The implementation of the new segmentation in the system is taking place in stages. The Contacts section will be made available gradually to a larger and larger pool of customers - so if you don't see this tab yet, don't worry!

It will soon appear in your account :)

Creating a segment is only the first step in an effective marketing strategy!

What benefits can be gained from a well-executed segmentation, and what actions are worth taking with ready-made segments? In this article, we will look at practical ways to use database segmentation to increase the effectiveness of marketing activities, better manage customer relationships and achieve higher sales results.

Segment settings

Send newsletters to the selected segment

One option for using pre-set segments is to send personalized newsletters. With segmentation, you can tailor the content of your messages to the specific needs and interests of particular groups of customers. This allows you to reach your audience more effectively, increase engagement and build brand loyalty.

Personalized newsletters can include information about new products, special offers, events or other content that is particularly relevant to a particular segment, resulting in higher open and click-through rates and better sales results.

Click on the settings bar in the upper right corner of the segment and select Send newsletter

You will be taken to the Newsletter section, where you will see the available created segments in the next campaign planning steps in the Recipients section.

By clicking on the preview of a given segment, you will see what filters it is configured with.

Here, you also have the possibility to edit a given segment (add new filters or delete them) or create a completely new one.

Remember that the changes applied to a segment will be general, not just to one created campaign. So if you change the parameters of a segment in the Recipients section of the newsletter, the changes will also be visible and saved to the segment in the Contacts section. An analogous situation will occur with the creation of a completely new segment from the newsletter creator.

Edit segment

Another option is to edit a segment by changing filters, adding new criteria or deleting existing ones. Thanks to the flexibility of modifying segments, you can continuously adjust your target groups to changing market needs and customer behavior. Updating segments allows you to target your marketing campaigns more precisely, increasing their effectiveness and efficiency. In addition, regular analysis and optimization of segments helps you better understand market.

Each segment created is dynamic. This means that it continuously updates the contacts in the segment. If a contact does not meet the selected parameters, conditions given by the filter, it is removed from the segment. As a result, only contacts meeting the imposed conditions remain in it.

Click on the settings bar in the upper right corner of the segment and select Edit Segment

Rename segment

Another useful option is to change the segment name, which makes it easier to navigate and manage in the system. Clear and intuitive segment naming allows you to find the right customer groups faster and better organize marketing campaigns. Segment renaming is a simple but effective way to keep the system organized and make your team more productive.

Click on the settings bar in the upper right corner of the segment and select Change name

Make changes to the name and click Confirm

Duplicate

Another option is segment duplication, which is especially helpful when creating new segments with a large number of filters. With the ability to copy an existing segment, you can quickly and easily create a new group of customers while keeping all your existing filter settings.

Segment duplication also makes it easier to experiment with different combinations of filters, which can lead to discovering more effective targeting methods and better campaign results.

Click on the settings bar in the upper right corner of the segment and select Duplicate

Confirm the duplication process

Edit the duplicate segment

Delete segment

The option to delete a segment from the system is crucial for maintaining order and transparency in the database. Regularly reviewing and deleting outdated or unnecessary segments allows for better organization and management of customer information.

Removing unnecessary segments helps avoid chaos and makes it easier to quickly find relevant customer groups. Remember to keep your account in order :)

Click on the settings bar in the upper right corner of the segment and select Remove

Confirm deletion of selected segment
