How do you create your own segment?

In this article, you will learn how to create your own segment using the available types of filters in the Contacts section

The implementation of the new segmentation in the system is taking place in stages. The Contacts section will be made available gradually to a larger and larger pool of customers - so if you don't see this tab yet, don't worry!

It will soon appear in your account :)

1.Go to Customers -> Contacts section

2. Select Segments tab

3. Click Create segment

4. Select customers by their engagement status

You can choose from 3 options: Engaged (active contacts, visiting the store, responding to mailings), Unengaged (customers who are not very active) and the sum of the above two statuses.

5. Select the subscription status of the customers of the created segment

6. Add the filters by which you want to segment the base

7. Select the type of filter from the list of available

8. Adjust the selected filter and recalculate the target base by clicking on the Recount contacts button

After adding the parameters, recalculate the target number of contacts in the database by clicking on the Recount contacts button

9. Verify the number of target contacts in the database

Remember, the segment will be dynamic, so contacts will be verified on an ongoing basis - if they do not meet the selected filters they will be removed from the segment.

10. Add more filters by which you want to analyze your segment

11. After adding the filters, save the segment to your account

12. Enter the name of your segment

13. Click on the Save segment button

14. Your created segment is available on the Segments tab of the Contacts section
