How to talk to customers on WhatsApp

After integrating with WhatsApp, you can:

  • Send WhatsApp newsletters to your entire contact base or target specific segments,

  • Reply to customers who get in touch,

  • Send messages to customers subscribed to your contact base using custom flows.

⚠️ Attention: To send WhatsApp messages to your customers, they must be subscribed to your contact base and have their phone number registered.

If a customer replies to WhatsApp messages sent by your store via a custom flow or WhatsApp Newsletter, the messages will be sent to the “inbox,” and you will be able to reply to them within 24 hours.

We do not offer the option to add only a customer’s WhatsApp number and name, as you would in a phone contact list, because this would be illegal). The customer must agree to receive your messages, whether by email or WhatsApp.
