Now we have integration with WhatsApp. If you don't use all the messages (templates) from your package, they are accumulated.

This is a very proactive approach that sets us apart from other similar tools in the market. In creating this tool, we focused on enhancing omnichannel features for our users. As a result, they can effectively manage communication with customers through WhatsApp, leading to increased sales and customer engagement. Our approach assumes that your success is also our success, so we created this tool with the aim of supporting your business to thrive in the dynamic world of omnichannel communication.

You will pay a monthly subscription for the contracted message package. A message (template) is considered used when it is sent and delivered. If the message is not delivered, the number of messages in your package is not changed.

Fee-only for delivered messages (templates)

With your subscription, you receive a package of template messages that you can send every month. There are five different plans available: A, B, C, D, E, with varying numbers of available messages (templates) to send.

It is worth noting that you can use the WhatsApp channel in your inbox completely for free by responding to your customers within a 24-hour messaging window.

Neither WhatsApp nor edrone will deduct any credits from you. If your customers contact you through this channel and you respond within 24 hours, it will not deplete your template pool from the package.

How does it work in practice?

After adding WhatsApp to your subscription in edrone, you choose one of the available packages. Credits will be added to your account every month, according to the number of messages provided in the chosen package. Unused credits (templates) will roll over to the next billing period, so you don't lose them.

If a message is not delivered, it won't be considered valid, meaning it won't count as a send.

What are WhatsApp templates and what is a message within the 24-hour window?

In WhatsApp Business, there are two main methods of business communication:

  • message templates
    and

  • messages within the 24-hour window.

Message templates are predefined messages that can be automatically sent to users in various situations, such as order status notifications or information about products added to the cart.

They have been approved by WhatsApp and can be sent outside the 24-hour window, regardless of the user's last interaction. WhatsApp charges fees for sending and delivering templates.

Messages within the 24-hour window allow for communication with users for 24 hours from the user's last message. Messages can be sent within this window without any additional charges.

In summary, WhatsApp Business charges for using message templates and their delivery but does not charge for communication within the 24-hour window or for responses to user messages within this window.

WhatsApp operates in such a way that to initiate active contact with a user, you must use a verified and WhatsApp-approved message template, by the platform's guidelines. Using such a template incurs charges. After sending the template and receiving a response from your customer, a 24-hour window opens, during which free communication with the customer is possible, without any additional charges. Only the templates that are used and delivered will be subtracted from your message package. Additionally, no charges are incurred when customers respond to business messages, and the business responds within 24 hours. The communication window is enforced by WhatsApp. Templates can be used in the Custom Flow and Inbox functionalities.

Can I try WhatsApp without any costs?

Certainly, after integration and verification, you will receive a package of 100 messages from us, allowing you to test the features. No charges will be incurred for integration and the first 100 templates, and we never charge for communication within the 24-hour window. Once you've exhausted the limit, please contact us at hello@edrone.me or via chat to request the addition of a WhatsApp message package to your subscription.

Why do they have to pay for WhatsApp shipments when the application is free?

WhatsApp Business is available for free for small and medium-sized businesses. However, there is a fee for using certain advanced features, including template functions and business message sending. WhatsApp aims to earn revenue from business communication services. Utilizing advanced features such as templates and business message sending requires infrastructure resources and technical support. Charging fees for business message sending may encourage companies to responsibly use business communication features and avoid abuse. These fees can serve as a filter, limiting the amount of unwanted or spam business messages.
