Online shopping is becoming increasingly popular, but at the same time, shopping sessions are getting longer, sometimes spanning multiple visits.

A consequence of this trend is the need to ocasionally "remind" potential customers after they visit your online store. edrone is here to help!

Using the Viewed Products scenario, you can send automated reminders and personalized product suggestions to customers who have recently viewed products in your store.

Let's learn how to set it up!

How to set up Viewed Products scenario?

Step 1: To begin, log into your Mission Control and go to Automations -> Ready Flows:

Step 2: Select the Viewed Products scenario, go to its settings, and click "Start":

NOTE: Language information is collected automatically by edrone from your customer's browser language settings. This means that it is not linked to a specific location. For example, if a customer lives in France but their browser is set up in English, they will be considered an english-speaking customer.

Step 3: Customize your settings

Here you set when the messages will be sent:

  • Send the first message after: how many days and hours should pass since your last visit, add to cart or purchase before the first message is sent to you.

  • Send second message after: how many days and hours should pass since your last visit, add to cart or purchase before the second message is sent to him.

  • Limits: you will set limits here to differentiate your messages and avoid sending too many messages.

  • Add-ons: smart subject- will allow you to automatically generate dynamic titles, tailored to your recipients.

Step 4: Design customization

To customize the design, click the pencil icon and then click Edit Design.

On this section, you will design your email. Click here to learn how to use the new Drag 'n' Drop Editor.

NOTE: The Viewed Products dynamic element will be automatically included in your email, and you will also be able to add the Bestsellers element as well as any other visual element available on the Drag'n'Drop editor.

Step 5: Review

Send a test email. If everything works as it should, click START (or RETURN if the scenario has been run before) and you're done. Enjoy your new automation Vievwd Products.

Step 6: Reports

To see how your new Restore Customers automation is performing and what benefits it brings to your business, you can go to the REPORTS section. There you will find key metrics such as: Engagement revenue, Sent, Opened, Clicked, Unsubscribed, CTR and others. Remember that it is possible to filter results by date and message.
