Cashback is a Ready Flow that rewards your customers automatically. After each order, edrone generates a coupon based on the order value and sends it to the customer to encourage their next purchase. You can also set an optional reminder about the same coupon if the customer hasn't ordered again yet.
⚠️ Important: For now, Cashback is available only for stores integrated with Shopify, Tray and Nuvemshop. Your store integration must allow edrone to create discount coupons. You don't need to reintegrate anything — the flow already appears in your Ready Flows list.
How it works
The flow starts with the Order placed trigger.
A Wait step pauses the flow before the coupon is created (1 day by default — you can edit it in days and hours).
edrone generates the coupon with the Generate a cashback coupon from the order value node.
The coupon is sent to the customer by Send Email and Send SMS. You can also add WhatsApp with Add WhatsApp.
How to set it up
Go to Automations > Ready flows and open the Cashback card.
Check the Order placed trigger — this starts the flow.
Open the Wait step to set how long to wait before the coupon is created. The default is 1 day; you can change it in days and hours.
Click the Generate a cashback coupon from the order value node to open the Cashback coupon dialog and set:
Cashback percentage — the coupon amount is calculated from the order value.
Maximum cashback amount — the coupon will never exceed this amount, in your store's base currency.
Coupon validity in days — how many days the coupon stays valid.
Click Confirm to save.
Check the Send Email and Send SMS nodes, and use Add WhatsApp if you want to send the coupon on that channel too.
Open Settings to choose which subscription statuses receive the flow on each channel.
Click Run to activate the flow.
📌 Tip: In the Email, SMS and WhatsApp messages, use the merge tag *|CASHBACK_COUPON|* to insert the automatically generated code. You don't need to select a coupon pool for it. Don't confuse it with *|COUPON|*, which sends a coupon from a coupon pool you choose — not an automatically generated one.
Reminder
You can add a reminder with Add reminder. This adds another wait step plus a second message (Email, SMS or WhatsApp) that reminds the customer about the same coupon.
The reminder is only sent if the customer hasn't placed a new order by then. If they buy again before the reminder is due, it isn't sent — the new order starts its own cashback cycle instead.
