Do you want to reach customers who have placed their first order in your store with a personalized message? This is possible in Custom Flow.

Select “Making a Purchase” as the starting element:

In this step, you choose the type to make your purchase. You can specify the purchase of which products will trigger Custom Flow. In this flow, it is best to select "Any product":

Then add a filter:

Select the "Order" filter type:

Select the "Total purchase count" filter category:

In the next step, you will select your filter settings. Select the "Greater than" option and enter the number 1. Select a time period below (it is best to choose a longer period to ensure that we capture all orders for a given customer):

Then, in the NOT MATCHED branch, add the WAIT element (how long after the purchase should the customer receive the message):

We add elements to the NOT MATCHED branch because this is where customers who placed their first order within the previously selected period of time will go.

Select wait type "Time":

Select the time after which the customer will receive the message (any):

The last step will be to add the ACTION element:

Select "Send email" action type:

Select your message design (you need to create it first in the Custom Flows > Design - emails tab):

Your Flow is ready! All you need to do now is run it.
