Choose an action type to engage your users in the path!

The 'Action' element in Custom Flows will allow you to choose how to engage the customer in the path.

In Custom Flows you will find 5 types of action:

  • Sending an email

  • Displaying a pop-up

  • Assigning a tag to a customer

  • Removin tag assigned to customer

  • Sending aWhatsApp message

Let's now go through each of these actions.

Action - send an e-mail

With this action, you can engage the customer by sending them an email message of their choice.

1. Click on the plus icon

Click on plus icon

2. Click on action element

Click on Add a new element…

3. Select an email design from the list

Click on Select an email design…

Only creations saved directly in Custom Flows will be visible in this list. You can manage this list under Custom Flows -> Emails design.

If you want to use a particular message you send in a standard automation scenario or in a marketing campaign, copy the message design and then paste it into Custom Flows.

4. Or create a new design by clicking the button

Click on Create new design

Action - display a pop-up

It is also possible to display a pop-up on a selected page within Custom Flows.

1. Click on the plus icon

Click on plus icon

2. Click on the action element

Click on Add a new element…

3. Select a pop-up design from the list

Click on Select a popup design…

Analogous to the send message action - only pop-up creations saved directly in Custom Flows will be visible in this list. You can manage this list under Custom Flows -> Pop-up design.

For pop-ups, it is currently not possible to copy the creative used in the Onsite -> Custom Pop-up section.

4. Or prepare a new design by clicking the button

Click on Create new design

Action - assign a tag to the customer

With this action will allow you to tag users with selected tags and therefore segment your audience groups.

1. Click on plus icon

Click on +

2. Click on action element

Click on Add a new element…

3. Select a tag from the list

Click on Select a tag

If you do not see the tag you are interested in in the list, make sure that the tag exists in the system. You can check this under CRM -> Tagged. You can also create a tag manually there.

Action - removing tag from customer

With this action will allow you to removing tag from users.

1. Click on plus icon

Click on +

2. Click on action element

Click on Add a new element…

3. After choosing removing tag, select this tag from the list

Click on Select a tag…

Action - send a WhatsApp message

With this action, you can engage the customer by sending them aW hatsApp message of their choice.

1. Click on the plus icon

Click on plus icon

2. Click on action element

Click on Add a new element…

3. Select a WhatsApp template

Click on Select a whatsapp template…

Only creations saved directly in Custom Flows will be visible in this list. You can manage this list under Custom Flows -> WhatsApp design.
