When will the scenario message be sent?

The message triggers from the automation scenarios are, of course, events performed by your customers on the site. Information about events such as viewing products, adding them to a shopping cart, or ordering them is collected by edrone.

Most of the ready-made automation scenarios have a "Adjust" section. It is there that you can set the number of messages to be sent in a given scenario, as well as the delay with which the message will be sent after receiving the event triggering the scenario.

So, the timing of sending ready automation scenarios will depend on the individual scenario settings in your account.

The sending time of the second and subsequent messages is counted from the previous message.

Example: In the Abandoned Carts scenario, two messages are set—one with a delay of 1 day and the other with a delay of 3 days. In this case, the next message will be sent 4 days after the product is added to the cart.

Note that some scenarios have a different way of sending messages.
These are:

  • Newsletter subscription
In the case of the double opt-in subscription model, the first message confirming your subscription will be sent as soon as the system receives the subscription event (trace subscribe).
A welcome message (often with a discount code) will be sent when you confirm your subscription by clicking on the subscription confirmation link in the first message.
In the case of the single opt-in subscription model, the message will be sent as soon as the system receives the subscription event (trace subscribe).

  • Newest products

In this case, the trigger mechanism is browsing products within a specific category. When a new product is added to that category, our system automatically generates and sends a notification about the available new arrivals in that category. This ensures that users stay updated on the latest offers, allowing them to quickly explore the new assortment and take advantage of attractive deals.

  • Back in stock

This scenario enables notifications to be sent to users who recently viewed a product marked as out of stock. When the product becomes available again, the system automatically generates and sends a notification. This mechanism is based on tracking product browsing activity and monitoring its availability in the product feed.

  • Price change alert: down

This scenario allows for automatic notifications to users about price reductions on products they have previously viewed. The mechanism operates by tracking product browsing activity and monitoring price changes in the product feed. When the system detects a price drop, it generates and sends a relevant notification to interested users.

  • Price change alert: up

This scenario enables automatic notifications to users about price increases on products they have previously viewed. The mechanism works by tracking product browsing activity and monitoring price changes in the product feed. When the system detects a price increase, it generates and sends a relevant notification to interested users.

  • Low stock products

This scenario allows for automatic notifications to users about the limited availability of products they have previously viewed. The mechanism is based on tracking product browsing activity and monitoring stock level information in the product feed. When the system detects that the number of available units falls below a specified threshold, it generates and sends a notification to interested users.
