How to connect edrone with an ERP system (BaseLinker)

Learn how to connect edrone with BaseLinker to automatically import customers from your ERP.

Written by Erico Azevedo

An ERP system helps you manage your business operations in one place. This article explains how to connect edrone with an ERP system called BaseLinker.

What is an ERP and BaseLinker

An ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system is software that connects and manages a business's core daily operations, like finance, HR, manufacturing, supply chain, and sales.

BaseLinker is a cloud platform that helps online sellers manage multi-channel e-commerce from one dashboard. For example, a Client can connect their own store (Shopify, Shoper, WooCommerce) together with marketplaces like Amazon or Mercado Livre, and keep products and stock synced in one place.

BaseLinker is the first ERP system edrone integrates with.

What the integration does

The integration imports customers from BaseLinker into edrone. edrone builds each customer from BaseLinker orders, matching them by email address. If one email has several orders, edrone creates one customer from them. If the customer already exists in edrone, edrone updates it instead of creating a duplicate.

⚠️ Important: for now, the integration only imports customers. It does not import order status or products.

Before you start: get your API token

To connect edrone with BaseLinker, you need an API token from your BaseLinker account. Here's how to get it:

  1. Log in to BaseLinker and click My account in the top-right menu.

  2. Open the API tab.

  3. Copy your existing token, or generate a new one.

📌 Tip: need more detail? Check BaseLinker's official guide: How do I generate an API token?

How to connect

ℹ️ In the edrone panel, BaseLinker is shown as Base.

  1. In edrone, click your store name at the bottom of the left menu, then go to Integrations → ERP Systems tab.

  2. On the Connect Base screen, paste your token in the API token field. If you need help, use the How do I generate an API token? link on this screen. Click Continue.

  3. On the Choose how much customer history to import screen, pick a range in Import customers from: 3, 6, 12, or 24 months. edrone shows an estimate of how many customers will be added or updated. 👉 A shorter range makes the first synchronization faster.

  4. Tick the checkbox (I agree to add or update about X customers from Base), then click Connect Base.

After connecting

Once connected, you'll see the Base status screen with the label Importing customers. It shows the Last sync and the import progress (“X of Y customers imported”). You can click Disconnect at any time to end the connection.

After the first synchronization, edrone re-syncs automatically about 4 times a day on average. Each re-sync only brings in customers that are new — not already in edrone and not downloaded before — so the number can vary, including 0.

You can see your imported contacts in a few places:

  • Customers → Contacts: filter by From ERP; the Source column shows Base.

  • Customers → Customers: the Source column shows Base.

  • Customers → Import: the Base imports section lists each sync as First sync or Resync, with its status and a Show contacts link.
