Cyclic loyalty program is a new Ready Flow, separate from the classic Loyalty program. The difference is in how rewards work:
Loyalty program (classic) works with up to 4 fixed spending thresholds — the Client moves through them once, from lowest to highest, and that's the end of their journey in the scenario.
Cyclic loyalty program works with a single, repeating goal — for example, every $500 spent or every 5 orders. Every time the Client reaches the goal, they get a reward and a new cycle starts right away. If they go over the goal, the excess carries over to the next cycle.
How to set up the Cyclic loyalty program
Log in to Mission Control and go to AUTOMATIONS > READY FLOWS > Cyclic loyalty program.
Step 1: Set the reward basis and goal value
Click Settings, then in the Adjust section set:
Reward based on — choose whether the goal is based on Amount spent or Number of orders.
Reward every — enter the goal value, e.g. 500 (amount) or 5 (orders).
Note: the goal repeats. After every order, we check the Client's progress toward the next reward, and any amount over the threshold carries over to the next cycle.
Step 2: Set channels and subscription statuses
In Settings > Subscription statuses, choose which Clients (by subscription status for Email, SMS, and WhatsApp — Subscribed / Unknown) should receive this scenario's messages.
Step 3: Design your messages
The scenario has two message branches:
Below the threshold: encourage the next purchase — sent after every order until the Client reaches the goal. You can use the *|LOYALTY_REMAINING|* tag to show how much is left before the reward.
Threshold reached: send a reward — sent once the Client reaches the goal. Add a discount coupon here the same way you would in any other Ready Flow.
You can set up SMS and Email for each branch, and add a WhatsApp message with "+ Add WhatsApp".
Step 4: Launch and check reports
Click "Send test" to make sure everything works, then click "Run" in the top-right corner.
In the Report section you'll find the scenario's metrics, including the Messages and revenue over time chart with daily, weekly, or monthly totals.
