Which Customer Orders Are Included in the Scenario?
The Loyalty Program scenario includes orders placed by customers after its launch. Purchases made before the program’s activation are not considered.
Two types of messages are sent in the Loyalty Program:
Reward promise message
Reward message
Message Sending Rules
Let’s assume you set the first threshold at 1,000 PLN and the second at 2,000 PLN. If a customer spends, for example, 1,500 PLN, they will receive an automatic message informing them about the reward promise and the remaining amount needed to reach the second threshold. The reward message for the first threshold will not be sent. To receive a message with a discount code, the reward promise message must be sent first.
If a customer immediately exceeds a given threshold, our system is unable to send a reward promise message for the lower threshold. In this case, the customer automatically moves to the next threshold and receives a reward promise message for that level.
Messages informing the customer that they are approaching a reward threshold are sent after each of their purchases. For example, if the threshold is 1,000 PLN and the customer makes a 50 PLN purchase, then returns and makes another purchase for the same amount, they will receive a notification after each transaction, informing them that they are getting closer to the reward.
