1. Navigate to the Clients → Import tab:

2. Click on New import

Steps for importing contacts that have both an email address and a phone number:

In the first step, select the appropriate settings

If you're importing phone numbers for email addresses that already exist in the database, choose the option Overwrite.

If you're importing contacts that are already in your database, select the "Set based on column in file" option for the subscription status. This will allow you to update only the SMS subscription status without changing the email subscription status of existing contacts.

Ensure correct subscription status settings for both SMS and Email. SMS newsletters can only be sent to clients with a subscribed status.

If you encounter issues setting the appropriate subscription statuses, please contact us at hello@edrone.me or via chat.

Upload the previously prepared file:

Ensure your file contains columns for both email and phone number.

In the next step, map the columns from your file accordingly:

In the fourth step, you can optionally add a relevant tag to the imported contacts.

Confirm the settings and start the import process:

In our system, a phone number can only be assigned to one email address. If your file contains duplicate phone numbers, the number will be assigned to the email address that appears first.

Steps for importing contacts that only have a phone number:

When importing new contacts into the system that only have a phone number, you can assign them subscription statuses based on the data in the file, or choose the option "Do not update subscription status (for new customers status will be set to unknown)".

Import the previously selected file:

Label the columns accordingly:
