Where are the data stored? What happens to the data after the termination of cooperation?

From this article, you will learn what edrone's data security policy looks like. The article answers the most frequently asked questions in the field of data security policy.

1. Where are the database servers located?

The servers on which computing operations are performed and the data entrusted by the User are processed have a physical location in Ireland (Dublin region) and the Federal Republic of Germany (Frankfurt region) in the Amazon Web Services infrastructure.

2. What level of security does edrone offer?

At edrone, we use high level of security measures. Data is processed in a distributed architecture, using an IT system, and the servers are connected to the Internet. Data is protected at the highest level of the AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud. If you want to learn more, you can read the documents: a). Security policy; b). IT system management manual (we provide this document upon request).

3. How often are database backups created?

The backup of databases is created at least once a day. Not only are there separate servers for backups, but also separate locations. Even if one of the Amazon Web Services centers were to fail or crash, your data would have a backup in another data center in a different location, such as, for example, Frankfurt.

4. What happens to the database after the collaboration ends?

As an edrone customer, you have access to your store data in the edrone panel. Your data will be kept as long as you are an edrone customer or as long as you use the panel in the free version. When your cooperation ends, your data will be destroyed.

5. Does edrone support the Opt-Out mechanism?

Yes, of course, and in several ways:

I. The end user can unsubscribe himself by clicking on the appropriate button in the message.

II. The user (edrone account administrator) can change the subscription status of his client to:

a) unsubscribed - will not receive any messages;

b) indefinite - will not receive commercial messages but may receive informational (transactional) messages if you decide so;

c) blocked - no messages will be sent, and no data of this person will be processed in the system.

III. If the End User makes an Opt-Out using his account in your website / eShop, his subscription status in the edrone system changes at the same time.

6. Is edrone compliant with RODO?

We have implemented and applied all required technical and organizational measures to ensure the correct application of the Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union (UE) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data. We also keep up with any changes in data protection and e-commerce laws, which we will keep you informed of.


7. Do customers have to agree to receive messages from edrone

edrone is not the administrator of the personal data you entrust to us for processing. Therefore, the person to whom the messages will be sent should give such consent only to the administrator, so to your company.
