You can send standard automation scenarios like Viewed Products or Abandoned Carts (all scenarios found in the ENGAGE section) to:

  • only to users with subscribed status
    or

  • to users with subscribed and unknown status.

By choosing the second option - i.e. contact with subscribed and unknown status, you will enable the system to send more messages, to people who visit your site, and whose email addresses we have in edrone.

How to set up automation scenarios to be sent to unknown statuses as well?

1. Go to Engage section

Go to Engage section

2. Click "yes" in the "Send to unknown?" section

Click "yes" in "Send to unknown?" section

And that's it! From now on, all of the standard automation scenarios will also be sent to users with unknown status.

Remember that we cannot send any messages to users with unsubscribed status.

Remember that messages sent within the paths prepared in Custom Flows, by default, will be sent to users with subscribed and unknown statuses (it skips unsubscribed status).

If you want messages within a given Custom Flows path to be sent only to one of the statuses: subscribed and unknown, add a filter in the Customer Attributes - Subscription Status section.
