The MCP Connector doesn't just answer questions about your data — it can now prepare an email or SMS newsletter for you. Just type something like “Create an email newsletter for the start of autumn” in Claude or ChatGPT, and the assistant will guide you through the whole process: settings, design, test and sending.
What you can do
Create an email or SMS newsletter draft with a campaign name, audience, subject, preview text and send time.
Design the email with edrone's email design AI, using products from your own catalog.
Create a new segment from a ready-made edrone template and use it as the audience.
Add a discount code through a coupon pool.
Check how many credits an SMS will cost before anything is saved.
Send a test to your own email address.
Send or schedule the campaign — only after you explicitly confirm.
Before you start
Connect your edrone account to Claude or ChatGPT. Here's how: MCP Connector: talk to your edrone data in Claude & ChatGPT
If you already connected the MCP Connector before, you don't need to reconnect — newsletter creation works right away.
To send SMS, you need SMS credits in your account.
If you want to add a discount, have a code ready that already works in your store.
How to create an email newsletter
In Claude or ChatGPT, say what you need, for example: “Create an email newsletter for the start of autumn.”
The assistant checks your audiences, segments and best sending times. Then it proposes each setting, one at a time: campaign name, audience, subject, preview text and send time. These are only proposals — accept them or change them.
Once you confirm everything, the assistant creates the draft. The draft is saved in your edrone panel (Newsletter → Email) and isn't sent yet.
The assistant designs the email with edrone's email design AI, using products from your catalog. Want changes? Just ask, for example: “Add more products” or “Make the headline shorter.”
Ask for a test. The assistant sends the message to up to 5 of your own email addresses. The test doesn't reach your campaign audience, and you can repeat it after every change.
Check the message in your inbox. If you'd rather edit it yourself, the assistant gives you a link to the editor in your edrone panel.
When everything is ready, tell the assistant clearly to send or schedule the campaign.
⚠️ Important: once a campaign is sent, you can't undo or edit it. Always check the test and the audience before you confirm.
SMS newsletters
The process is the same as for email. On top of that, the assistant:
calculates the cost in credits per recipient and shows the character count;
points out characters that make the message more expensive (for example, accented characters lower the limit to 70 characters) and suggests a cheaper version — you decide whether to use it;
shows you the message, the number of recipients and the total credit cost before sending.
Discount codes
A discount is always added to the campaign through a coupon pool, never typed into the message text. The assistant can use an existing pool or create a new pool with one code that every recipient gets.
⚠️ Important: edrone only stores the code — it doesn't create it in your store. Give the assistant a code that already works in your store, otherwise your customers will get a code that fails at checkout.
📌 Tip: to use a pool of unique, single-use codes, import it as a file in your edrone panel.
