AI Sales Chat now works on WhatsApp too. It's the same AI assistant that already helps customers on your website, and it's active for all accounts.
What is AI Sales Chat on WhatsApp?
AI Sales Chat is edrone's AI assistant that talks to customers, answers product questions, and helps them make a purchase decision. Until now it only worked on your website. Now it also answers on WhatsApp, in a dedicated tab in your dashboard: AI Sales Chat → WhatsApp.
How does it work?
AI Sales Chat on WhatsApp uses the same setup as the website version:
One knowledge base for both channels – you configure it once, and it works for your website and WhatsApp at the same time.
Same product feed – the assistant checks your stock and sends product links directly in the WhatsApp conversation.
Does it use my WhatsApp message credits?
No. Replies sent by AI Sales Chat on WhatsApp are billed through your AI Sales Chat package, not your WhatsApp messages package. Your WhatsApp credits stay untouched.
Can a person take over the conversation?
Yes. Every conversation handled by the bot appears in your Inbox, marked as “AI.” Your team can jump in and take over at any time — the same handoff model used for the website chat.
Is there a time limit to reply?
⚠️ Important: WhatsApp's own policy only allows businesses to reply within a 24-hour service window after the customer's last message. This is the same rule that applies to regular WhatsApp messaging in edrone.
What do I need before I turn it on?
Your store needs to already have WhatsApp integrated with edrone, and an active plan or trial of AI Sales Chat.
How to activate AI Sales Chat on WhatsApp
Setup takes 3 clicks. Your dashboard guides you through it with a live preview:
Connect your WhatsApp number.
Choose an AI Sales Chat plan or start a trial.
Turn on the AI.
👉 That's it! AI Sales Chat will start answering your customers on WhatsApp right away.
