The AI Sales Chat in edrone is an intelligent assistant that supports customers throughout the shopping process directly on your website. It helps them choose the right product, answers questions, and encourages them to make a purchase - exactly when the customer is hesitating.
How Does the AI Sales Agent Work?
The AI Chat appears on the website as a conversational widget and:
Actively advises customers on product selection (e.g., gifts, “for her / for him”),
Recommends the most suitable products based on your store’s offerings,
Helps narrow down the choice to “that one perfect product,”
Supports the purchase decision, which translates into higher conversion and increased cart value.
The AI Agent uses data from your product feed. You can monitor all conversations in real time in Inbox in edrone.
How to Enable the AI Sales Chat
Enabling the AI Agent is quick and requires no technical configuration:
Log in to your edrone account
Go to Onsite → Widget AI Agent
3. Click the “Publish” button
👉 Done! The AI Sales Agent will start working on your website immediately.
How to customize your AI sales chat?
In the Settings section, you will find elements that you can personalize:
Chat name – you can change the name displayed in the widget.
Header icon – you can upload your own icon file (max 2MB).
Widget color – you can set the widget color, e.g., to match your store branding.
Widget language – you can choose the language displayed in the chat.
Widget position – you can set the chat position on the screen (e.g., bottom left corner).
Offset from left (px) – you can specify the exact distance of the widget from the left edge.
Offset from bottom (px) – you can specify the exact distance of the widget from the bottom of the screen.
Icon size – you can choose the size of the icon (e.g., small, medium, large).
Display on devices – you can set whether the widget should appear on desktop, mobile devices, or both.
Greeting bubble – you can enable/disable the initial welcome bubble and set a delay time.
Contextual bubbles – you can enable/disable additional bubbles based on user behavior on the site.
Auto-open widget– you can enable automatic opening of the chat window after a specified time.
How to train your AI chat?
Train my knowledge base in the Knowledge Base tab.
The chat can already answer all questions about products, but it has much greater potential!
Tell it about your services, rules, or policies, and it will learn to respond better to your customers. You can also upload PDF documents and text files – it will create tailored content based on them.
Don’t want to search for files? No problem – just provide a link to a webpage, and it will automatically gather the key information and prepare appropriate responses.
Where Can I See Customer Conversations?
All conversations handled by the AI Agent are available in Inbox.
This allows you to:
View customer questions,
See recommended products,
Evaluate how the AI Agent supports sales and saves your time.
Where to Check AI Sales Agent Performance
Go to Reports → AI Agent to analyze the AI Agent’s performance in real time.
The reports show, among other things:
The number of conversations handled by the AI Agent,
The number of messages exchanged with customers,
Click-through rates on recommended products,
The number of product recommendations shown to customers,
Escalations — conversations passed to a human (e.g., customer support team).
With these reports, you can easily evaluate how the AI Agent supports sales, engages customers, and frees up your team — all in one place, without the need for external tools.
