Types of agents in edrone

Invite your team to your edrone Workspace!

Written by Wioleta Jednaka

In the edrone system, there are two types of users:

  • Super Agents, who have administrator access to the entire system; and

  • Agents, who are regular users that have access to specific features according to the permissions set by a Super Agent.

Please note that only Super Agents can invite a new Agent to the edrone Workspace.

To add a new Agent or Super Agent, go to SETTINGS > USERS.

You will see a list of all existing Agents and Super Agents. Below this list, you will find the Add New Team Member section.

Enter the new Agent's First Name, Last Name, and Email Address, then click the SIGN UP button.

An invitation will be sent to the provided email address, allowing the team member to manage your e-commerce Workspace.

If the invited Agent does not yet have an edrone account, they will be prompted to create a password.

If the Agent already has an edrone account, they will receive an email with information about accessing the new workspace.

When a new Agent is created, their account has no permissions assigned by default. Therefore, a Super Agent must assign the appropriate permissions as soon as the account is created.

Managing Team Permissions in edrone

You can manage agents' permissions and restrict access to selected sections. Only Super Agent can manage the permissions. The following permissions are available:

  • Access to Inbox

  • Possibility to import/export data from the system

  • Access to Settings

  • Access to Engagements

  • Access to Onsite

  • Access to Advertisement

  • Access to reports

  • Access to CRM

If an Agent does not have permission to access a specific area of the system, that section will be locked (grayed out and marked with a padlock icon).
