In the context of e-marketing, the delivery rate refers to the percentage of e-mails sent that actually reach inboxes, compared to the number of e-mails sent. Of course, we want the percent of messages delivered to be as high as possible.

A high delivery rate

is desirable and tells us that we have a good reputation, that our audience cleaning or other practices, such as updating the database, are going in the right direction. It also means that the segmentation strategy is effective.

Low delivery rate

In this case, it is necessary to work on the recipient base, hygienize the database, pay attention to reputation and whether our messages are not marked as spam. It is worth checking whether the added DNS entries (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) are correct. Message bounces should be monitored. In non-obvious cases, it is also advisable to contact your mail server or email tool.
