What are introduction messages and what is their purpose?

In the Newsletter subscription scenario you will find Introduction Messages. This is a sequence of messages that you can send to users after they confirm their subscription. This is a good way to introduce customers to your store's story, mission or vision, or to introduce members of your team.

Multiple message limit and sending time

You can set up to a maximum of four messages and set a send time for each message.

NOTE: If you set Introduction Messages, they will be sent to the customer only after the Confirmation Message and Welcome Message have been received (this depends on which subscription model you are using).

If you are using the Double Opt-In model and the customer does not confirm the subscription, they will not receive Introduction Messages. Introduction messages are an additional option that allows you to send as many as 6 automatic emails to new subscribers (including subscription confirmation and welcome messages in the Double Opt-In model).

How do I set up multiple messages?

1. Click on Automations -> Ready Flows

2. Click on NEWSLETTER SUBSCRIPTION scenario

3. In the Additional elements section, enable Introduction messages

4. Choose how many introduction messages you want to send and set the sending time

5. Select on the chart on the left Send introduction

6. Select the message you want to configure from the list and click Edit design
