To send your messages from edrone with good deliverability, you need to add your sending domain in the system and authenticate it by creating the right DNS records with your provider.
📌 UOL Host's panel doesn't offer the NS record type (available types are A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT and SRV). In edrone's setup screen, click I can't configure NS records to get the CNAME/TXT records.
📌 Tip: your sending domain is not your store's URL. It doesn't include "https://" or "www" and can differ from your store domain — but it must be the domain you use to send your messages. Example: yourstore.com
Step 1 – Configure DNS records in edrone
Go to Settings › Sending domain in your edrone Control Panel. If your domain isn't added yet, click Add domain and enter the domain you use for your messages. Click Configure DNS records, then Go to DNS setup, then I can't configure NS records to get the CNAME/TXT records. Keep this window open — you'll copy the Type, Name/host, and Value of each record from here.
Step 2 – Creating the records on UOL Host
Path: Painel Host › Domains › Manage domain › Manage DNS › Create new entry
Log in to Painel Host with your email and password. In the side menu, click Domains (or Configure on the Domains card).
In the domain list, click Manage domain on the row of the domain you're authenticating.
Under the domain, click Manage DNS.
Scroll to Configure DNS Zones and click Create new entry.
Under Select entry type, choose the same type shown in edrone: CNAME or TXT.
In the Entry field, type only the part of the name before the domain — the panel completes the domain next to the field. Example: if edrone shows newsletter.yourstore.com, type only newsletter.
Paste the value copied from edrone in the Target field (CNAME) or the value field (TXT). Leave the entry's Status as Enabled.
Click Save entry.
The message "Entry saved successfully" confirms it was created. Click Create new entry and repeat steps 5 to 8 until every record from edrone's list is created.
⚠️ Important: never click Restore to default — this button can delete entries that already exist on the domain.
📌 UOL Host states that changes take about 1 hour to start working; full propagation can take longer.
Verify in edrone
Go back to Settings › Sending domain and click Verify records. Once every record shows as verified, your domain is authenticated. If any stays pending, wait for propagation (up to 48–72 hours) and check again.
Common problems on UOL Host
Record not verified after 72h: an extra space in the value, or a typo in the name. Compare Entry and value against edrone character by character; if needed, delete and recreate the entry.
Duplicated name (e.g. newsletter.yourstore.com.yourstore.com): the full name was typed in the Entry field. Edit the entry and leave only the subdomain (e.g. newsletter).
NS type doesn't show up: UOL Host's panel doesn't offer that type. In edrone, click I can't configure NS records and use CNAME/TXT.
Everything looks right, but nothing verifies: the domain's DNS is on another provider. Check the WHOIS to see if the servers are ns1, ns2 and ns3.dominios.uol.com.br. If not, create the records on the correct provider.
