To send your messages from edrone with good deliverability, you need to add your sending domain in the system and authenticate it by creating the right DNS records with your provider.
KingHost's panel doesn't offer the NS record type, so DNS configuration on KingHost always uses the alternative CNAME/TXT records.
📌 Tip: your sending domain is not your store's URL. It doesn't include "https://" or "www" and can differ from your store domain — but it must be the domain you use to send your messages. Example: yourstore.com
Step 1 – Configure DNS records in edrone
Go to Settings › Sending domain in your edrone Control Panel. If your domain isn't added yet, click Add domain and enter the domain you use for your messages (e.g. yourstore.com). Click Configure DNS records and then Go to DNS setup.
Since KingHost's panel doesn't offer NS records, click I can't configure NS records to get the CNAME/TXT alternative. Keep this window open — you'll copy the Name (host) and Value of each record from here.
📌 Tip: you don't need to create SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records separately. Just add the records edrone shows you.
Step 2 – Adding the records on KingHost
Main path if your domain already uses KingHost's DNS: painel.kinghost.com.br › [your domain] › Manage DNS › + Add DNS › Save Changes
On the panel's home page, select your domain and open Manage DNS. This is where every service's entries live (Web, Email, Databases).
At the top of the page, click + ADD DNS. Available types: A, CNAME, AAAA, TXT, MX and SRV.
Fill in Name (the host — KingHost completes it with .gerenciardns.kinghost.net in the preview), choose the Type (CNAME, TXT…) and enter the Target (the value edrone gave you). Click ADD DNS.
After adding every entry, click SAVE CHANGES at the bottom of the list.
📌 Tip: new or edited entries stay orange until saved; KingHost's default entries stay white. Use this to check what's still pending.
Editing or removing a record
Edit: click the entry and replace the Name or Target. It turns orange; then click Save Changes.
Remove: click the trash icon next to the record and confirm.
⚠️ Important: removing a record can't be undone. "Restore defaults" recreates the zone with KingHost's standard addresses (Web, Email, databases), but it does not recreate edrone's records.
📌 Tip: single SPF only. Only one TXT record starting with v=spf1 can exist per domain. KingHost's default SPF is v=spf1 include:_spf.kinghost.net include:_spf.google.com include:spf.protection.outlook.com -all. If you need to add another service, add its include to this same record instead of creating a new one, respecting the 10-lookup DNS limit.
Go back to edrone and click Verify records.
Domain not on KingHost's DNS yet? Pointing the nameservers
Done at your domain registrar — here, Registro.br. This points your domain to KingHost's DNS servers.
KingHost's DNS servers: dns1.kinghost.com.br through dns6.kinghost.com.br. Enter at least two; ideally register all six for redundancy.
Path: Registro.br › Access account › [domain] › DNS › Change DNS servers › Save changes
Log in to Registro.br with your username and password and select the domain.
In the DNS section, click CHANGE DNS SERVERS, fill in KingHost's servers (use +DNS to add more fields) and click SAVE CHANGES.
⚠️ Important: once you change the NS, all DNS management moves to the new provider. Before pointing to KingHost, make sure the records you need (site, email, SPF, edrone) already exist there.
Propagation and common mistakes
Records on KingHost's zone usually propagate within 2 hours; NS changes and bigger updates can take 24–48 hours.
✔ Forgetting to click Save Changes — orange entries aren't saved yet.
✔ Two SPF records — more than one v=spf1 breaks authentication; merge them into one.
✔ Duplicating the domain in Name — enter only the host (e.g. _dmarc); KingHost completes it.
✔ Pasting a value with spaces or line breaks — copy DKIM/SPF exactly as shown in edrone.
✔ Checking too soon — wait for propagation before trying again.
