Did you know you can send SMS messages right from your edrone's Mission Control?

We achieve that through a partnership with SMSAPI, a specialized solution from one of the leading mobile technology companies in Europe.

Here you will learn how to correctly integrate your account with SMSAPI.

Step 1: Log in or register

If you already have an SMSAPI account, log in. If not, sign up to create an account.

Step 2: Generate token

On the left side of your screen, open the API Settings tab, select the API Tokens (OAuth), then generate a token by clicking the Generate Token button.

Name your token "edrone", leave all other options as they are and click the Generate access token button.

Your new token will be generated. Click on the Copy to clipboard button and paste in somewhere you can copy it from later.

Step 3: Set up Callback URLs

On the main menu, still under API Settings, select Callback URLs.

Here, you will add two Callback URLs:

Step 4: Paste token on Mission Control

On your Mission Control, go to SETTINGS > INTEGRATION > SMS API and paste your token on the text box.

Step 5: Add a new sender

To add a new sender, go back to the SMSAPI website. On the main menu, go to SMS Messages > Senders and add a new sender name. The new sender will automatically appear in your Mission Control.

That's it! Enjoy your new SMS sending capabilities.

Additional information:

  • Currently, this integration with SMSAPI is used for the "Recover Abandoned Cart", "SMS Newsletter" and "Birthday" scenarios.

  • You are responsible for obtaining the necessary points in SMSAPI's system to be able to send SMS messages.

  • Please note that test SMS messages sent via edrone will use your SMSAPI account's points.

  • It is not possible to synchronize subscription statuses between SMSAPI and edrone, because edrone only uses SMSAPI as a mechanism to send SMS messages and has no access to any contact lists stored in SMSAPI.
